This is something I was asked to do a few days ago, and it's because a person is moving into this building.  I was asked to do it quickly and simple, and I went to take photos of the area.  When I do paintings, I don't start with drawings, I just paint.  But to show this area more accurately, I put tracing paper over the photograph, and did a drawing with a pencil showing the details.  I then printed the drawing onto watercolor paper, and to do it quickly I made it only 4" x 6".  Since I started with a drawing from the photograph, this was done very much like the way I do renderings.
