This book is "Anne Spencer: Poet of the Harlem Renaissance", by Brucella Jordan. She's the wife of Norman Jordan, the founder of our African American Arts and Heritage Academy. This second drawing was done again with Sharpies, the black drawings Brucella suggested. But when she saw the black drawing, she asked if I could add color to make the gardens look more real. I added watercolors over the Sharpie drawing.
